Build your bibliography as you do your research. Citation management software can help automate the process and save valuable time, though a review of generated end/foot notes & bibliography is essential. See the links on this page. Use references from relevant research to lead you to additional relevant sources.
Try Spanish/Portuguese keyword equivalents in your searches to considerably expand the scope of your scholarly resources, even in English-language search interfaces such as HAPI.
Set up a personal research session with a librarian for assistance if you encounter difficulty locating appropriate sources.
Think through your plan for the project/paper, and review the parameters of your particular assignment carefully. Conduct your research early & analyze your findings thoroughly. Think through your project/paper plan again. Then start writing!
