• Write a simplified explanation for a complex topic
• Create a syllabus, or a lecture outline
• Write a complete lesson plan, including readings to assign, lecture or discussion topics, in-class and homework exercises, exam questions, assessment rubrics, etc.
• Brainstorm ideas for a new research project
• Write a first draft of [insert whatever you want to write about here]

Of course, you will need to edit all of this, but that is less work than generating the initial drafts.

Then you can use all that time you have saved to:

• Provide more individualized instruction/mentoring to your students
