There are several options for requesting books, articles, etc. that are not currently at Wesleyan library or accessible online.
To place a request, first sign into OneSearch with your Wesleyan username and password:
Click the title of an item in a list of search results to see the full record for the item which may include one or more of these request options:
For a book on a shelf in Wesleyan library, you can request to have it retrieved for you to pick up at a library circulation desk.
If you just need one section out of a book, you can request to have a copy scanned for you.
If we do not have a print book in our collection, or if the library's copy is checked out, you can "Request to borrow" to place an interlibrary loan request for a book.
If OneSearch has a record for an article but the full text is not accessible, you can "Request a digital copy from another library" to place an interlibrary loan request for a PDF copy of the article.
If OneSearch has a record for an ebook that Wesleyan has, but you prefer a physical copy, you can request one from another library. The library will notify you when it is ready for you to check it out.
