If you use a bibliographic manager such as EndNote or Zotero, you can add a list of references into your course reading list or list of favorites. 

Select whether you have an RIS file or BibTex file, then drag and drop or browse to upload the file. 

The full list is displayed. You cannot edit records in this list, all you can do is click to "Add all items." Since you can import a very long list with just a few clicks, this feature is probably best used to populate your list of favorites, then you can use your favorites to add items to specific course reading lists.
