Library Course Reserve

Add items to a list using the "Search the library" feature

You can quickly add a record from OneSearch for a book, article, or other publication you want to add to your reading list. Library staff will automatically be notified if they need to do any processing.

  • For e-books, articles we have online access to, and other online sources, a link to the online source will be automatically added to your reading list.
  • For print sources in the library, you can request library staff to:

    - Put a print book on physical reserve in the library
    - Scan a section of a print book and add it to online reserve (the amount scanned must be within copyright guidelines)

  • For items listed in OneSearch which the library does not own, library staff will be notified and they will obtain a copy from the publisher or another library and add it to your reading list.

To find a record in OneSearch, click to "Add," then select to "Search the library."

The default search is a keyword search of "Everything" in OneSearch, but if you have a specific publication you are looking for, it is often more effective to select the "Advance Search" option where you can specify title, author, publication date, etc.

When you find the publication you want to add, you can select which section to add it to, then click to "Add."
