Library Course Reserve

Link to a specific section within a list

By default, the Library Course Reserve module in Moodle links to the top of the reserve list associated with the course. But you can set up multiple links to the Course Reserve module in Moodle and have each link go to a separate section of the course reserve list.

Use Moodle's "Edit" function to "Add an activity" to add more instances of "Library Course Reserve" and name each appropriately (for example, "Week 1 Readings," Week 2 Readings," etc.).

At this point, each link to the Course Reserve module will take you to the top of the course reserve list. To set a link to go to a specific section of the course reserve list:

  1. Select one of the links to the Course Reserve List and click it. That will take you to the top of your course reserve list.
  2. Scroll to the top of section (or the specific title of an item in the list) you want that link to go to.
  3. Click the three dots on the right to bring up a list of options.
  4. Select the option to "Relink Moodle to here."
  5. Click "OK" to verify you want to make this change.

Now when you click that link in Moodle, it will take you directly to that section or item in your course reserve list.
